Winnellie Hydraulics was called upon to supply installation, commissioning and operations tooling to the Northern Gas Pipeline project.
We worked closely with the construction and commissioning contractor to develop the tool list to ensure that the list was optimised for all aspects of the commission works. To do this, we cross referenced all the relevant data provided from the flange asset register to ensure the tooling supplied was fit for the application.
We hand-delivered tooling to both of the compressor stations situated on the NGP, performing tool commissioning, training and handover to ensure operators were well versed in the safe operation of 10,000 psi hydraulic tooling.
